I have been dancing Salsa well over 11 years and as you tell by the picture,
I really love to dance Salsa Music!
Before dancing salsa, I was dancing Hip Hop,
Reggae, R&B, House, Tribal, Vogue,etc.. for over 7 years.
I just love to dance and enjoy good music!
If anyone would have told me that I was going to "LOVE SALSA", I would have laughed in their face.
I was really into my american music, specially House & Tribal. It took one night at an old Latin Salsa Club called
"Les Poulets" on 22 St btw 5/6 Avenue and I was hanging in the DJ booth which overlooked the whole club. There, I saw two of my good friends from the "American Club Scene".
All I saw was a circle and there they were dancing. In that moment I knew what my calling was.
I instantly stopped dancing and promoting american clubs and dedicated my leisure time to learning, listening
and feeling the salsa music. I visited the Copa on 57 St almost every day.
I was sad that I did not make it to visit at its original location on 60 St. btw 5 Ave / Madison Ave.
I started promoting Salsa events 2001 at a very beautiful venue called "E'toile". It was one of the
best venues
I have been when you talk about location, atmosphere and elegance. I was there for a
few months and then
I came back in 2002. I also have a few events at different venues.
All locations I select have to speak to me and to what I try to create when I hold events.
I have found my next venue and that is "Club Madison" 27 W 24 St.
